Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update

The City of Sidney has initiated a process to update its parks master plan which will guide the community for years to come.

This planning process is rooted in community values and aspirations. It creates a platform to guide and align local leaders, stakeholders, and the community toward a shared future.

We want to hear from you! Your feedback and perspective is crucial to helping the city better understand how the parks system can serve your needs and the needs of the community.

The Sidney Parks and Recreation department invites you to an open house on Wednesday, March 8, from 6-8pm at the Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County. The open house is to review the preliminary findings and recommendations of our Parks and Recreation master plan update. A brief presentation will be shared at 6:00 and the remainder of the time will be open house.
