[ARCHIVED] Neighborhood Pride Grant Pre-Applications Sought

Pre-applications are now being accepted for the Neighborhood Pride grant program. The Neighborhood Pride program is a competitive 1:1 matching grant up to a maximum of $1,000 per household for exterior home improvements that can be seen from the street.

Residents interested in the program are invited to submit a pre-application. The pre-application requirements include: 

  • Properties must be located within the corporation limits        
  • Applicants must own the property for which the exterior improvements are being proposed. Or, if the applicant is a renter, owner acknowledgment will need to be provided.
  • Applicants must be part of a cluster of three to five houses that are adjacent or within very close proximity of each other
  • A representative of the cluster must be identified as the contact person.

Examples of projects eligible for funding include:

  • Paint 
  • Landscaping
  • Lighting
  • Porch projects
  • Fencing

The Neighborhood Pride Grant is a neighborhood revitalization program that focuses on encouraging groups of neighbors to collaborate on exterior improvements to their properties and build confidence in their neighborhood.
