[ARCHIVED] Safety Town Program to be Held

Dispatcher Pae speaks to Children

The Sidney Police Department will again be holding its annual Safety Town Program June 19 through June 22, 2023. There will be two daily sessions of the program; the first taking place from 9:00 a.m. to noon and the second from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day. This free program is appropriate for children entering Kindergarten, or who are currently in Kindergarten.

As a part of the program, the children will get age-appropriate information about:

  • Crosswalk safety
  • Animal safety
  • Playground safety
  • Gun safety
  • Traffic safety
  • Bus safety
  • Drug safety
  • Physical resistance to violence
  • And more

Space is limited to 20 students per session. To register your child, please contact Community Resource Officer Bryce Stewart at 937.498.8722.
