[ARCHIVED] Arrest Made After Shooting Incident

On Sunday, November 29, 2020, at approximately 6:44 a.m. Sidney Police Department responded to 315 E South Street in regards to a shooting.  Upon arrival officers found a male subject lying in the grass next to 315 E South Street with a gunshot wound to his abdominal region.  He was transported to Wilson Health by Sidney Medics and then careflighted to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  The wounded male was identified Robert J Parker, age 33 of Sidney.   

Sidney Investigators responded to the incident to which witnesses were interviewed and the crime scene processed for evidence.  During the investigation a handgun believed used during the shooting was recovered.  

As a result of the investigation the person responsible for the shooting was identified, charged and transported to the Shelby County Jail.  Charged with one count of Felonious Assault was Brianna T Wilson, age 27, an address of 630 Fourth Ave, Sidney.
