Facilities

Bertsch Hill is located in Tawawa Park and was formerly known as "Badgers Bluff." On November 25, 1974, it was officially renamed "Bertsch's Hill" in honor of Wayne Bertsch. Mr. Bertsch was a charter member of the Tawawa Civic Park Board. In 1952, Mr. Bertsch was appointed to the Sidney Recreation Commission by then Mayor Emerson Deam.

Bertsch's Hill is claimed by some to be the second highest point in the state.
