If you are a community leader, real estate developer, marketer, tourism professional, or business owner; if you are interested in the Great Miami River, our region’s economic development, and creating regional partnerships, you should consider attending the Great Miami Riverway Summit, presented by The Hamilton Foundation. This year, the annual gathering will be held at the Fitton Center in Hamilton on Friday, April 17, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The keynote speaker this year will be Brad Beaubien, AICP. Brad is an award-winning certified urban planner who serves as the Director of Destination Development for Visit Indy, a destination marketing organization working to enhance the quality of life in Indianapolis by optimizing visitor-related economic impact. The event will include other guest speakers on tourism, recreation and economic development as well as a showcase of 2019 achievements and plans for 2020.

The Great Miami Riverway is an area of vibrant city waterfronts interconnected by extensive land and water trails and includes the communities along the Great Miami River corridor from Sidney to Hamilton. The City of Sidney is a member of the coalition and benefits from ongoing marketing, planning, and programming that supports its employers, employees, residents, and entrepreneurs. Over $500 million in riverfront investments have been completed over the last 10 years in communities along the Great Miami Riverway.
