The outside of your home is important. From the paint you choose to the flowers you plant, it is a reflection of yourself, a way to be creative, and show the rest of the community how beautiful your home can look. Beauty itself is subjective, but it's evident who takes pride in where they live. This is why the Neighborhood Beautification Award exists: to appreciate and recognize those who are putting in the time and effort to make improvements.
Whether its painting window trim or a whole new landscape, these improvements make a difference. This award is completely nomination based, so all residents are encouraged to nominate Sidney homes that really catch their attention! Self-nominations are also accepted.
Nominations, with before and after pictures, if available, are being accepted through September 2, 2022. Forms can be dropped off or mailed to City of Sidney Community Development Dept. at 201 W. Poplar St or emailed to lphilipps@sidneyoh.com. Awards will be presented during the September 26, 2022, Council meeting.
