On Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at approx. 730 AM the Sidney Police Department executed a narcotic’s search warrant at 300 N Miami Ave, Sidney OH. The initial entry and securing of the location had to be accomplished by utilizing the services of the Sidney-Piqua Tactical Response Team. This is due to the fact that this residence was deemed a high risk to officer’s safety.
Recovered during the search were cocaine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia. As a result of the search warrant, arrested and incarcerated were as follows:
- Amanda Weiler, age 31, 300 N Miami Ave, Sidney OH. Charged with one count of Felony Drug Possession a felony of the 5th degree.
- Gloria J Pierce, age 47, 300 N Miami Ave, Sidney OH. Charged with one count of Felony Drug Possession a felony of the 5th degree.
- Brandi J Hall, age 37, 300 N Miami Ave, Sidney OH. She had an arrest Warrant out of Miami County.
Additional charges are being reviewed and may be filed at a later date.
This warrant execution is a continuing effort by the Sidney Police Department to combat drug abuse and drug trafficking in Sidney. Information resulting in this warrant was derived in part from concerned citizens.
