There will be no solid waste collection on:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If your service day falls on one of these six holidays, you will not have service and your items for that specific day will be collected on the day after the holiday; collection on subsequent days in that week shall likewise be moved back one day.
Holidays That Collection Will Still Be Collected
Even though administrative offices are closed normal solid waste collection routes will be run on:
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- President’s Day
- Good Friday
- Christmas Eve
Yard Waste Collection
- May through November yard waste is collected by the city’s contractor on a weekly basis.
- December through April yard was is collected by the city one week per month. Collection information can be found on the city calendar.
