Sidney Municipal Court handles adult misdemeanor traffic and criminal matters for all of Shelby County as well as civil matters with a jurisdictional limit of $15,000.00. We also handle Small Claims complaints with claims to a maximum of $3,000.00. This Court utilizes community volunteers for a mediation program that is offered as a free service to the community. Please note that the small claims information sheet will still require that you sign a completed form at the Clerks office when you’re ready to file your claim.
