Local Government Costs

The City of Sidney is a low-cost community in which to live and operate a business. Per a survey of area local governments, Sidney was the lowest cost community of all 34 cities surveyed. This survey of 2009 expenses includes real estate tax, local school taxes, city income tax and water/sewer rates.

 

Water and Sewer Rates Comparison

A 2010 annual survey of water, sewer, and combined rates for 66 local goverments in the area.show that the City of Sidney's water and sewer rates are among the lowest in the area.
