This page is intended to advise residents, businesses, and the traveling public of the City of Sidney to the Wapakoneta Avenue Reconstruction Project. The project includes:
- widening Wapakoneta Avenue to include a middle turn lane
- removing the traffic light at Wapakoneta and Parkwood to improve traffic flow
- eliminating Dixie Drive
- installing curbs and gutters for better control of storm water
The project has been broken up into two phases. Phase I includes the roadway from I-75 to Parkwood St. Phase II includes the roadway from Parkwood St. to Russell Rd.
