This park is one acre and is ADA accessible with a basketball court, picnic area with shelter, and play equipment. This park is a morning playground site from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The playground leader will offer new games to children Monday-Friday. Arts & Craft will be offered Wednesday 10:00-11:00 and Friday 10:00-11:00. A new arts and craft project will be offered each day.

The City of Sidney Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a food service program this summer under the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Summer Food Service Program for Children. We will operate this lunch program Monday through Friday. All programs will operate June 7, 2010 through August 20th, 2010from 11:00 to 11:30. Hot meals are prepared daily by Wilson Memorial Hospital.

BROWN PARK
Brown Park is located at the rear alley of 601 South Ohio Avenue.  This property was purchased in 1972.  Brown Park was named in honor of Stephen Brown for recognition of his years of service as a member of the Sidney Recreation Board.  Mr. Brown was appointed to the Board in March 1961 to replace Tom Anderson.  Mr. Brown was principal of Sidney Senior High School prior to his death.  He had been a resident of Sidney since 1953.  He came to Sidney from Washington Court House, Ohio, to serve as principal.  He was a native of Clinton County.
