Fleet Services
The Fleet services department is resposibe for all vehicle fleet matters for the City of Sidney.
Fleet assest consist of vehicle and motorized equipment used by the City agencies to provide services relating to the health,safety and welfare of the citizens of Sidney.
The customers of fleet services are Public Works,Public Safety (Police, Fire, EMS),Shelby Public Transit,Parks & Recreation, and various other departments.
Fleet Services Operations
Major and minor maintenance is performed in-house by City staff at the Service Center.
Outsourced repairs include tires, alignments, and body work.
Hours of operation is 7:00am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Staff are available for emergency call-out 24 hours a day.
Fuels are dispensed from a City owned facility using an automated key operated fuel mangement system. Fuel is available 24 hours a day.
