Have you noticed your neighbor's beautifully renovated landscaping? Or are you proud of your own improvements? If so, the 1st City of Sidney Neighborhood Beautification Award could be just for you. Nominations for the first Memorial day award will be accepted through May 25.

NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR PERMITS FOR TEMPORARY POOLS: If you have, or plan to use, a temporary pool this summer (such as an inflatable pool, soft sided, or metal sided pool) and an electric motor is used for recirculation and/or filtering, a permit is required.

City Staff Reviews Cemetery Guidelines
The City of Sidney's goal is to work with family members to properly maintain the Graceland Cemetery in a fashion to respectfully remember those who have preceded us. To accomplish this goal, there are rules in place for the general public and visitors to the Graceland Cemetery pertaining to the placement and removal of gravesite decorations
